19/05/2007 Successful Delivery of Pilbara Iron Electrical Refresher E-learning Course

AVELING is proud to announce the successful delivery of the Pilbara Iron Electrical Refresher e-learning course. This delivery is the second in a set to be produced for Pilbara Iron and provides users with the ability to complete the Electrical Safety Refresher course.

The electrical refresher e-learning course is developed in Adobe Flash and uses the AVELING developed Pilbara Iron online course template to provide common functionality across all refresher courses.

Within the e-learning course, care was taken to ensure all information was correct as per the client’s revised policies and procedures and a major update to supporting multimedia graphics was undertaken to ensure the final product was of high quality.

In addition, AVELING implemented an XML text integration schema to enable course text content and questions to be amended through external files; thereby decreasing the turnaround time on changes and updates and enabling the amendments to be made without having to suspend the course.

The project took four weeks to develop and was successfully delivered within time and budget and to the customer’s satisfaction.
