AVELING is pleased to announce that the Arnhemland Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) has selected us to be the provider of choice for the Responsible Service of Alcohol course. Chris Hayward, of the ALPA Training Division, made the following comments about their decision:
“The Arnhemland Progress Aboriginal Corporation (ALPA) is the largest independent employer of indigenous people in Australia.
ALPA is also the most financially successful indigenous owned enterprise in the country as well. The charter of the company is to independently provide economic and social opportunity to its member communities and provide real jobs, workplace training and development in remote Aboriginal Communities throughout Arnhemland. ALPA has been an incorporated body since 1972 and has been a Registered Training Organization since the early 1980s and continues to deliver nationally accredited courses in retail and business management. From time to time we look for third party providers to provide additional training for our employees in specialized areas.
When we look for others to train our indigenous staff, we look for training methods and delivery methods that are well designed and meet the specific learning characteristics of indigenous people. So when we were looking for an online provider for Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification, we did a thorough analysis of online trainer providers and the various web based courses available for that competency.
After sampling many, we settled on the AVELING online RSA module which has proven an excellent choice for us, as it provides a perfect learning medium for our remote indigenous staff. With content rich in visuals, audio and role play scenario, we have found the AVELING online RSA, delivers a far more effective retention rate for knowledge transfer and delivers the course in such a way that is enjoyable for our trainees to participate in.
The web portal is user friendly and is very stable, which is an important factor for us, as we are often located in very remote areas using satellite or Next G based wireless connections. We have been very happy with the AVELING product and your phone support and customer service has been first rate as well. I recommend AVELING to all and sundry as a quality provider of accredited online training products.
We look forward to doing more business together in the future.”
